Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Edition 1

Evangelion is both the embodiment of Japanese animation, in whole or overstated, depending on your opinion. Regardless of your opinion about whether the controversy surrounding the rather confusing ending Evangelion is still one of the most popular anime series of all time.

The direction is bossy and frightening. The storyline is mysterious, without frustrating. There is so much to continue the struggle and to act with the conduct of the act, instead of time to fill and bulk episodes. The other side of the coin, but it can be so philosophical that you want to scoop your brains out and throw it into a wall.

There have been big improvements in the quality of the sound and animation in comparison with the original version, but none of them are big enough to close the purchase of the series, if you already own. The English dub was cleaned, but I think the American voice acting overly hammy. The sound is Dolby 5:1 snazzy, but cheaper TV (like me) it sounds not so spectacular. If you have a brilliant sound, it's worth it.

A new Evangelion live-action film is currently in pre-production in the United States. Details are patchy at the moment, but the film has been reported that a huge budget and special effects by Weta - godlike these people that our LOTR. Hideaki Anno, director of the original series, is not involved in the project, but the original Japanese and American VAS may be asked to do cameos.

Yu Yu Hakusho 1

Yu Yu Hakusho is a series shonen struggling with its headquarters in a supernatural world where witches fly on Blue Haired rowing oars and speak with the most frightening bad English accent ever, and the leader of life after death looks like a baby.
The series begins, as the American TV series Desperate Housewives, with the main character die. The comparisons, because the action to follow Yusuke as he comes with his death.

Yusuke begins the series of almost daring the audience to hate his angsty little courage. He is a student criminals with a bad attitude and a tendency to beat fellow students. (And he swears!) Soon it becomes clear that he misunderstood, and his last act in life, he shocks by all jumping for a car to save a small child. From that moment, the story gets weirder and weirder as Botan, the aforementioned Blue Haired witch, tell him they have no place for him in life after death, because nobody expects him only…

The first CD contains the story line, the main characters (all pretty well rounded and have interesting backgrounds) and generally facilitated the viewer into the supernatural world, Yusuke now inhabited. I found it very interesting plot that, although the more action-packed episodes on the discs later began to grate on me.

The animation looks now, the (originally founded in 1992), and a bit simple. In fact, if you look at "Dragon Ball Z" They will not be that far away looks of the action. If you think that sounds vaguely offensive, you need not bother with Yu Yu Hakusho - they will probably also formulaic for you. If the comparison with DBZ move your imagination aflame, but I do not think you will be disappointed with this series.
